1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using CourseLabz, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
CourseLabz is an online marketplace where learners can take free and paid courses created by instructors and organizations. Some courses offer optional paid certificates of completion.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the digital consent age in your country) to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts is not allowed.
4. Course access
- Free courses give you lifetime access to course materials as long as the course is published.
- Paid courses give you lifetime access to materials you purchased; you can re-watch and download where allowed.
- Certificates may be free or paid depending on the course; details are shown on the course page before purchase.
5. Payments and refunds
- Prices are shown in USD by default. Local currencies may be supported in the future.
- Payment is processed by Stripe.
- EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
- For digital course materials delivered immediately after payment, we ask for an express separate consent to start delivery before the withdrawal period ends and for acknowledgment that the withdrawal right is lost once delivery begins.
- If that separate consent is not given, immediate access is not started and the standard withdrawal rules continue to apply.
6. User content
If you submit reviews, comments or other content, you grant CourseLabz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the platform. You retain ownership.
7. Intellectual property
All courses, lesson texts, videos and certificates remain the property of their authors or CourseLabz. You may not copy, redistribute or resell course materials without permission.
8. Acceptable use
See our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
9. Liability
CourseLabz is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes will be resolved by Polish courts unless mandatory consumer-protection laws give you stronger rights.
